A business plan doesn’t need to be a 50-page document. A simple one-page plan can clarify your thinking and guide your first steps.

Start with your value proposition: in one sentence, what problem do you solve and for whom?

Next, define your target customer. Be specific โ€” age range, location, income level, or industry if it’s B2B.

Outline your revenue model: how will you make money? One-time sales, subscriptions, services, or a mix?

List your main costs: startup costs (equipment, website, licenses) and ongoing costs (rent, tools, marketing).

Identify your competitors and what makes you different. Even indirect competitors count โ€” anyone solving the same problem differently.

Set 3 goals for the next 90 days. Keep them measurable, like “get 10 paying customers” or “launch website and social pages.”

Write all of this on one page. Review and update it monthly as you learn more about your market.
